Priyā  (fka Zafira) was born approx. in March 2013 in Spain. Just a few months old Priyā was found by an attentive gentleman in front of his house. She was frozen, covered in mud, confused and frightened. The gentleman took her in, offered her food, gave her a bath, kept her warm and informed animal rescue. Under all the mud he discovered true beauty. For two years Priyā lived in a shelter in Linares, Spain, until I discovered her on the website of Tierschutzverein ARCA e.V. in August 2015. Priyā has joined our family on the 21th of November 2015. She is a very strong-minded, yet sweet-natured girl. We are currently in the process of integrating her in the family.

Below: Priyā on the fourth day in her new home. She has made herself comfortable in “her” new chair. She is started to get house-trained and knows and reacts to her new name. She is also getting on better with the cats. She gets on fine with Candy and Yonah anyway. We visited the vet yesterday. 19.25 kg dog - and not much muscles. We got our work cut out.
